Centerville News

Centerville UMC has a number of new projects, and we enjoy them very much. On Sunday, May 13, at 1:30 p.m., however, a century-old event will take place, and that is the Centerville singing. Everyone is invited to join the Faulkner County Singing Club in carrying on this early May tradition. It has been going on for more than a century in the our community, and it welcomes all who have an interest.

The ladies of Centerville are kicking off a quick Bible Study to finish one that was started several months ago over Women in the Bible. We are going to begin at the home of Bernie and Christy Ausbrook and will try to actually go over two women in one week since summer is right around the corner. I am so excited for any opportunity to meet with these ladies and am sure it will be a blast.

There will be a group from the church attending the play Smoke on the Mountain this Saturday. I am excited to attend and am sure they will have a good turn out.

As a final note, school is almost out and there are a lot of things going on right now. Remember to email me at jfreemanmom@ gmail.com if you would like to share the special things happening in your life.
