Arch Ford Record Destruction: On June 29, 2018, the Arch Ford Education Service Cooperative Early Childhood Program will destroy special education records of students who were transitioned and/or were dismissed from special education services in the program on or before June 29, 2012. This is in compliance with the Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR at 34CFR76.734). Parents and/or guardians may obtain any records in the folder prior to June 29, 2018. Faulkner County Emergency Squad Fundraiser: Needing to purchase rescue equipment, used to outfit the new rescue vehicle. Representatives will be going door to door offering an 11x14 family portrait for on $30.00. CAPCA Governing Board Meeting: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28; CAPCA Administrative Office, 707 Robins St. Suite 118 in Conway;Committees will begin meeting at 5:30 pm.The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss program updates, committee reports and funding proposals.  The Governing Board will also review and adopt the 2018-2019 CSBG Grant Request. CAPCA serves Arkansas, Cleburne, Desha, Faulkner, Lincoln, Lonoke and White counties in Arkansas, and Tangipahoa, Parish in Louisiana.

 

Pine Street CommUnity Museum Collection Picnic: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sunday, June 30; Student Life and Technology Center on the campus of Hendrix College. The purpose of the event is to acquire items associated and representative of the historic African American Pine Street CommUnity. Bring photos, articles, artifacts and memories to share.

 

ARDOT "30 Crossing" Public Hearing: 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 12; Wyndham Riverfront (Silver City Rooms), located at 2 Riverfront Place in North Little Rock; The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), will conduct an open forum Location and Design Public Hearing to present and discuss the 30 Crossing Environmental Assessment (EA) and proposed design plans.
