Harwood earns CFE credential

Conway, AR – June 1, 2018 — The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world’s largest anti‐fraud organization and leading provider of anti‐fraud training and education, is pleased to award John S Harwood of Harwood, Ott, & Fisher PA. in Conway, Arkansas, the globally preferred Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential.

In order to become a CFE, Harwood has met a stringent set of criteria and passed a rigorous exam administered by the ACFE. Harwood has successfully met the ACFE’s character, experience and education requirements for the CFE credential, and has demonstrated knowledge in four areas critical to the fight against fraud: fraudulent financial transactions, fraud prevention and deterrence, legal elements of fraud and fraud investigation.

Harwood has also received certifications from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in the areas of business valuation and financial forensics. Additionally he has been admitted to attend Pepperdine Universities capital markets program in October of this year to earn the Certificate in Private Capital Markets.

The Certificate in Private Capital Markets program provides the critical analysis and evaluation skills needed for tackling today’s complex capital markets and enterprise valuation. Harwood provides tax, accounting, business valuation and forensic accounting services in the central Arkansas area.
