For yet another year, Greenbrier School District is easing parent’s minds by covering the cost of school supplies.

Parents with students from kindergarten through seventh grade will not have to worry about buying items for their children as the new year approaches — backpacks not included.

The district posted the announcement to its Facebook page on Sunday morning shortly after 8 a.m.— it currently has nine comments and more than 220 shares on the social media platform.

One user, StewartHaley Wilcox commented on the post, thanking the district.

“Such a blessing and stress reliever,” user, Melissa Hoyer Ball wrote on the post. “Thanks so much.”

While kindergarten-through seventh is paid for, those entering into the eighth-12th grade will still have to purchase supplies; a list will soon be posted on the junior high and high school websites.
