Water for Christ will host a summer Car Show fundraiser for the third straight year on Saturday.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at LifeSong Baptist Church in Greenbrier and admission is free and open to the public.

"This event is a blast every year," Water for Christ representative Ben Temple said. "We've had some really awesome looking cars, live bands, planes flown overhead in honor of the event, tasty food and a few vendors and more. If you want to have a fun day with the family and support a good cause, what better way to do that than to pay us a visit?"

He said this year's goal is to raise $10,000 "so we can drill two wells."

Water for Christ's mission is "to provide sustainable, clean drinking water-wells in places of need worldwide."

The third annual Summer Fund Car Show will feature classic cars, food vendors and a special performance, organizers said.

"There will be raffles, prizes, bouncy house for children, food and drinks, special music by an Elvis impersonator dressed to the nines and much more," Temple said.

The church is at 56 S. Broadview St. in Greenbrier.
