Among reports recently released by the Conway Police Department:

•Theft of property, South Donaghey Avenue.

A Conway man says his scooter was stolen from the parking lot at his apartment complex sometime this weekend.

The 23-year-old victim told police the theft occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Friday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

The scooter was listed as a 2003 Yamaha Zuma and valued at $2,000 in the police report. The victim stated it had a UCA sticker.

•Residential burglary, South Ash Street.

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred this weekend at a residence in the 200 block of South Ash Avenue.

Police believe the robbery occurred between 4:15 p.m. Friday and 4:50 p.m. Saturday.

The 31-year-old victim told police she noticed it was hot in her apartment and that the kitchen window was open when she returned Saturday.

The victim reported her Playstation 3 and controls were missing. The victim told police she found DVDs and games spread out on the floor, and also found her clothes in the bathroom floor and in her children’s bedroom.

Police found no pry marks on the window frame, but noticed the window screen was bent. The victim told police the window was locked when she left the apartment.

Police obtained multiple fingerprints from the window area.

The stolen property was valued at $468 in the police report.

•Second-degree criminal impersonation, Dave Ward Drive.

Police responded to the Walmart at 3900 Dave Ward Drive around 1:40 p.m. Saturday in response to a possible fraud.

Officers made contact with the victims who told police they received a phone call from someone by the name of James White who stated he was with Publishers Clearing House and that they had won $2.5 million and a brand new Mercedes Benz.

The man told the victims to meet him at Walmart with $400 cash for shipping an handling of the vehicle, the police report states.

Officers spoke with the man on the phone, and advised him who they were and asked for more information. The man told the officer he was a "redneck" and told the officer he would kill him and his family, the police report states.

Police say the phone number appears to be a Jamaican area code.

•Theft of property, Rosemary Drive.

A Conway man says his scooter was stolen from his home sometime Friday.

The 21-year-old victim told police he woke up around 9 a.m. Friday, but did not notice the scooter was missing until around 10 p.m.

The victim described the scooter as a black and red Yamaha Zuma with several scratches from an accident.

The scooter was valued at $400 in the police report.

•First-degree criminal mischief, Cadron Settlement Park.

A city employee says the men’s restroom at Cadron Settlement Park was graffitied sometime Thursday night or Friday morning.

The employee told officers he found the graffiti on the wall while checking the restroom around 6:45 a.m. Friday.

The damage was estimated at $100 in the police report.
