Among reports recently released by the Conway Police Department:

•Residential burglary, South Donaghey Avenue.

A Conway man says his .40-caliber carbine was recently stolen from his apartment in the 300 block of South Donaghey Avenue.

The 21-year-old victim told police he last remembers seeing the carbine around 9 p.m. Saturday, and discovered it missing around 1:22 p.m. when an old roommate alerted him that he found the victim’s apartment door open.

Police said there was no sign of forced entry, and no other property had been taken. Because the victim had already moved items, police were unable to locate fingerprints.

The carbine was valued at $300 in the police report.

•Shoplifting, Dave Ward Drive.

Hibbett Sports employees say a female shopper stole a sweatshirt and shoes from the store on Tuesday afternoon.

Conway police were dispatched to the store in the 3900 block of Dave Ward Drive around 12:13 p.m. Employees say a white female shopper, in her 20s, brought an Under Armour hoodie and a pair of Nike shoes to the front counter of the store, and asked to see a different pair of shoes.

When the employee went to retrieve the shoes, the female grabbed the sweatshirt and shoes, and ran out of the store.

Employees say the woman entered a gold Toyota Corolla.

The stolen items amounted to $124.94 worth of merchandise.

•K-9 area search, Interstate 40.

Conway police conducted a K-9 search at a vehicle-accident on Interstate 40 Monday afternoon.

Officers arrived on scene around 3:03 p.m., and learned from a witness, the driver of the vehicle involved in the wreck had fled the scene on foot. Witnesses also informed police the driver was injured. Police noted the accident caused "significant damage to the vehicle."

The search was terminated after police say the driver was not located. Officers were also unable to located footprints or blood in the area.

•Robbery, unknown residence.

A Conway man says he was beaten and robbed at an unknown location, and at an unknown time Monday morning, while he was intoxicated.

The 29-year-old victim told police he had been taken to an unknown residence after being at TC’s Midtown Grill. The victim said his assailant was a bald, white male.

Because he was intoxicated at the time of the incident, the victim said he was unable to fight back.

During the attack, the victim said $300, a black Fossil wallet, his driver’s license, his cell phone and various other items, were stolen. The items totaled $925 in the police report.

Officers said they were unable to take photos because the victim had broken up a fight while working at O’Henry’s in Mayflower and sustained several bruises.

•First-degree terroristic threatening, Markham Street.

An Arkansas Beauty School teacher says a student threatened harm to her, another teacher and other students, after she dismissed the student from the school on Monday morning.

The teacher, a 55-year-old Greenbrier woman, said she dismissed the student, a 24-year-old Conway woman, because of her attitude and lack of ability to work with others.

Upon her dismissal, the teacher said the student threatened to punch her in the face. The student also threatened other students and another teacher, stating she would be waiting for them. The teacher said the dismissed-student also stated that if she saw any of them again, they would be sorry, according to the police report.

"She threatened to attack them all, and that they better watch their backs," an officer noted in the police report.

Police advised the teacher to contact officers if the student returned to the school.
