Congressman and Mrs. Millard F. Caldwell and Miss Jean Caldwell of Milton, Fla., are here for a visit at the home of their sister, Mrs. J. Frank Jones. Mr. Caldwell, who was re-elected for the third time as a member of congress from his district last Nov. 3, spent several weeks during the presidential campaign speaking in behalf of President Roosevelt in northwestern states.

Paul Freyaldenhoven and Frank Rivers scored 17 and 14 points, respectively, last night to lead the St. Joseph
Bulldogs to a 52-34 victory over Sacred Heart of Morrilton.
St. Joseph took a 15-5 first quarter lead and was never in trouble.
Bubba Hart hit 20 for the losers.
St. Joseph junior boys "B" team grabbed a 10-1 first quarter lead and coasted to a 29-21 win over the Sacred Heart juniors. Johnny Jordan scored 11 points for St. Joseph.

Sixth-grade students at Conway Middle School gathered around John Patterson, a landscape gardener, as he dug a hole to plant a red maple tree yesterday on the campus. Maribeth Garrison, reading teacher, said the tree was purchased by students after they read a story about Arbor Day.

Joe Torian of Conway was among 72 Farm Bureau leader participating in the state resolutions meeting at the Riverfront Hilton in North Little Rock. The committee refined and consolidated 732 county policy proposals into a set of formal recommendations to be considered by the voting delegates during the business session of the Arkansas Farm Bureau Convention, scheduled for Nov. 28-30.
