Miss Ashley Michelle Hum of Conway and John Paul Clawson of Pearl River, La., were united in marriage at 6 p.m. on July 7, 2012, in a double-ring ceremony at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Little Rock, officiated by the Rev. Tom Byrne of Houston, Texas.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Patrick J. Hum II and Lisa Kay Smith Hum of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Hum of North Little Rock, Mrs. Kay Weatherly and the late Dr. Harley Weatherly of Conway and Mrs. Amata Smith and the late Dr. Aubrey C. Smith of North Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Mr. Michael Clawson of Columbia, Miss., and Mrs. Phyllis (Bob) Delpuget IV of Pearl River, La. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Geraldine) Martory of New Orleans, La., Mrs. Alma Dell Clawson of Kokomo, Miss., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Delpuget III of Metairie, La.

The aisles were decorated with tulle and hydrangea.

Phillip Quick served as organist and Peggy Lloyd served as soloist.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a pearl colored, dropped waist and ruched ballgown with a cathedral train. One shoulder, sweetheart neckline accented with a cathedral-length veil with pearl and lace embellishments.

Katie Bruich of Conway served as maid of honor. She wore a one shoulder, ruched tea-length blue satin dress.

Bridesmaids were Lauren Miller of Little Rock; Diana Hum of North Little Rock; Cherie Perez of New Orleans; Michelle Jenkins and Janet Atkins, both of Memphis, Tenn.; Lacey Clawson of Pearl River, La.; and Ali Yurasek of Canton, Ohio.

They each wore a blue satin ruched, one shoulder dress with a corset back.

Katherine Ward of Little Rock and Lilly Martory of Belle Chase, La., served as flower girls.

Paul Martory of New Orleans served as best man.

Groomsmen were Justin Hoadley of Conway; Miguel Sanchez of New Orleans; Lee Schumann of Marion, Ark.; J.T. Malalsri of Memphis, Tenn.; Justin Earnest of Shreveport, La.; and Nicholas Hum and Patrick Hum, both of Conway.

The groomsmen also served as ushers.

Presiding at the bride’s book were Emily Miller of Little Rock and Rileigh Gunn of Dallas, Texas.

The reception took place at the Little Rock Junior League House.

The ballroom was decorated in an old New Orleans patio garden theme. Tables were decorated with alternating trees with tea lights and Spanish moss, lanterns with cascading bouquets of hydrangea and roses. Garden urns decorated some tables with hydrangea, roses, and cascading greenery. Additional decorations around the ballroom included wrought iron street lamps and garden patio vinyets.

The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Mr. and Mrs. Clawson are currently residing in Memphis, Tenn.
