Bryon McKinney of Conway, a student of Hendrix College, while in New York this week on a visit, was among the group of persons interviewed in the lobby of the Taft Hotel in New York City by the NBC "Vox Poppers," Parks Johnson and Wally Butterworth.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brazear entertained with a birthday party Saturday in honor of their daughter, Karen’s 10th birthday. Mrs. Betty White and Mrs. Maggie Martin, aunts of the honoree, assisted in serving cake, punch and ice cream to the following guests: David Zimmerebner, Pam and Gloria Hensley, Rosemary Hickey, Tony and Tommy Eiceman, Garry Harper, Terry and Virgie Victory, Gene and Tommy Cargile, Harriet Beatty, Kerry, Cindy and Joe White and Debbie and Kaye Iburg of North Little Rock. Party favors were given to each child. Movies were taken during the event.

Ralph vanLandingham, Debi Nabholz and Dell and Beverly Strain carded out three other teams to win a mixed twilight scramble yesterday at Cadron Valley Country Club.

All the leaders came in at 30.

Richard and Sherry Coran and Tom and Carmalita Jones were second; Paul Cody and Kay Thompson and Guy and Lois Giorgis were third; and Bryant and Dorothy Quattlebaum and Earl and Marian Ormsbee were fourth.

Walmart Supercenter co-manager Chuck Huddleston and personnel manager Denise Willis presented Mayflower Junior High School science teacher Lou Jane ills with a check for $1,000. The money will be used to send students to Space Camp in Huntsville, Ala.
