‘Happily Ever After’

We all know life is no fairytale,

But, for the saved that’s how it will end,

With a "happily ever after,"

For Heaven awaits us just around the bend.

Here we have our trials and troubles,

And oft our crosses grow heavy to bear.

But, all will be peace and joy and love,

In our Heavenly home so fair.

Where sorrows never befall us,

Where there is no more sickness nor pain,

For just over the Crystal Sea,

We shall meet up again.

Where sin can never enter,

And there’s nothing of evil to defile,

Where there are no more partings,

And we enjoy all those things worthwhile.

So take heart, fellow pilgrim,

For after we go life’s final mile,

We shall live "happily ever after,"

In God’s land of endless smiles.

‘For a Song’

For the "love of money," will you sell your soul?

For "fame" will it be gambled on?

Will the devil be able to boast someday,

That he picked it up "for a song?"

Do things of this world entice you?

Do you squander away precious time?

Will opportunities for Salvation be passed on by?

With the fate of your soul on the line?

What is the value you place on your soul?

For a "mess of pottage" will you sell?

Will you follow the thronging multitudes,

Straight into a devil’s hell?

Yet, what you would give someday in exchange for your soul,

When it is damned for all eternity,

What you would give for one more chance

To repent, and upon Christ believe.

Don’t let hell’s awful fate befall you,

For soon life on earth will be gone,

Don’t allow your soul to be auctioned "cheap" —

For the devil to pick it up "for a song."

It took the death of God’s own Son,

The value of your soul was Calvary’s cross,

But, Jesus would have come had it meant "just one,"

Would not be eternally lost.

Cherished Love

Valentine’s Day is a very special day

for people all around the world

that love and care about their families.

Husbands and wives tell each other "I love you,"

and also do nice things for them on that day.

Husbands and wives need to know

that they are loved and cared about every day,

and that they are special to them not just on Valentine’s Day.

Husbands and wives need to hear the words "I love you," every day.

If you have a good husband or wife treat them right and with respect.

When they have passed away

you will miss their love

and the special times that you had together with them.

Everybody all around the world — husbands, wives, children, relatives, and other people,

need to hear the words "I love you,"

not just on Valentine’s Day.

They need to know that they are loved and cared about

not just on Valentine’s Day.

When they have passed away you will miss the love and special times that you had with them.
