Ken and Renée Hunter of Conway will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 2, with a reception at First Presbyterian Church, 2400 Prince St. The reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.

The couple was married on Feb. 2, 1963, at First Presbyterian Church when it was located at Caldwell and Faulkner streets in Conway. The Rev. John Shell officiated.

The couple has two daughters, Kendra Massa (Steve) of Conway and Shannon Bloyder (Jeb) of Billings, Mont., six granddaughters and two grandsons.

Before retirement, Ken worked in food safety, the last 22 years with Riceland Foods. Renée was a journalist.

Now that both are retired, they travel extensively.
