That’s Why It’s Called "Amazing Grace"

By Pamela Hixon Rhea

Jesus left the splendors of Heaven,

At Calvary, He took my place,

To take my sins away,

That’s why it’s call "Amazing Grace."

Someday, He’ll take us home to Heaven,

To those mansions in the sky,

Where we shall live forever,

For our souls shall never die.

Agape love — so rich and free,

Which shall forevermore endure,

He’ll save every sinner who comes to Him,

For God’s Promises are sure.

Someday, when I see His nail-scarred Hands,

And I look upon His Face,

I’ll thank Him for Calvary’s Love,

And know, that’s why it’s called "Amazing Grace."
