Wedding vows were exchanged by Joanna Marie Hagan and Adam Baird McCall at 3 p.m. June 12 at the Summit Church in North Little Rock. Bill Elliff and Danny Jones officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Rita and Merlin Hagan and the granddaughter of Betsy and Calvin Hagan of Little Rock and Floyd and the late Melva Hodges of Pittsburg, Texas.

Parents of the bridegroom are Rena and Jay McCall of Conway. He is the grandson of the late Georgia and Jack Cochran of Salem, Marilyn Newkirk of Tulsa, Okla., and the late Jim McCall of Little Rock.

The church was decorated with candlelabras wrapped in grapevines holding arrangements of spring flowers. Music was by vocalist Barbara Raney, guitarist Dustin Raney and pianist Jodi Hefner.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a strapless ivory mermaid-style gown embellished with beading and gems across the bodice. The ivory elbow-lenghth veil was trimmed with beading and was secured with a rhinestone and freshwater pearl comb. Green hydrangeas, ivory roses, sunflowers and green hypericum berries filled her bouquet.

Serving as the bride’s honor attendants were Kristen Mitchell Lewis and Natalie Nicole Newkirk, cousin of the bride, both of Little Rock.

Bridesmaids were Brittney Hagan and Bethany Grissom, both of Little Rock, Anna Dietrich of Kansas City, Mo., Elizabeth Ray and Heather Lacy, both of Fayetteville, and Amber Livingston of Bryant.

They wore knee-lenghth black satin halter dresses and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Flower girls were Hannah and Holly Newkirk of DeValls Bluff, cousins of the bride, Rebekah Grothe of Little Rock, and Tinsley Leslie of Salem, niece of the bridegroom. Ring bearers were Matt and Noah McCall of Conway, nephews of the bridegroom, Jack Leslie of Harrison, nephew of the bridegroom, and Hunter Newkirk of DeValls Bluff, cousin of the bride.

The father of the bridegroom was best man. Groomsmen were John Leslie of Harrison and Ben Leslie of Salem, brothers of the bridegroom, Ross Halsted of Springfield, Mo., Aaron Mitchell of Jonesboro, Bill Brown of Greenbrier, Matt Burrow of Brinkley, and Andrew Martin of Little Rock.

Guests were seated by Heath Hagan of Little Rock, brother of the bride, Layne Johnston of Maumelle, and Phil Singleton and David Fort, both of Little Rock.

A reception at the church followed the ceremony.

The bride is a senior at the University of Central Arkansas, where she is studying family and consumer sciences.

The bridegroom is a graduate of UCA with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He received a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is an intern in general surgery at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

After a honeymoon in Hot Springs, the couple will reside in Columbus, Ohio.
