Paige McGilvray and David Riggs, both of Conway, were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Albert Pike Hotel in downtown Little Rock. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Kevin Hale.
The bride is the daughter of J. Don and Mary McGilvray of Mayflower. She is the granddaughter of H.S. "Mac" McGilvray of Fort Worth, Texas, and Bill Elliott of Little Rock.
The groom is the son of Bobby and Theresa Riggs of Conway. He is the grandson of Tommy and Pat White of Beebe, Wanda Pool of Little Rock, and Robert and Jennie Riggs of Fayetteville.
The wedding decorations included Christmas garlands and white lights that were at the venue, which was very ornate, with very little added decoration.
The bride was escorted by her father, Don McGilvray. The bride wore a cream colored fitted strapless dress with beading at the waist with a train.
The John Jarboe String Quartet played during the ceremony. The bride walked in to "Canon in D".
Serving as maid of honor was Brandy Westbrook of Little Rock. she wore a red, full-length gown. Serving as bridesmaids were Callie Peacock of Conway, Hannah Moore of Savannah, Ga, and Robbi Riggs of Conway. Each of the bridesmaids wore a different style dress in the same color, all red, all full-length. They carried bouquets of white roses.
Serving as ring bearer was son of the groom, Ethan Riggs, of Conway. Serving as flower girls were Mairyn McGilvray and Sarah Anne McGilvray of Little Rock.
Joel Hannah of Conway served as best man. Serving as groomsmen were Alan McGehee of Conway, Brandon Gonzales of Denver, Colo., and Jimmy Archer of Boulder, Colo.
Serving as ushers were Stuart McGilvray, Geoff McGilvray, Drew McGilvray and Gavin McGilvray.
The mother of bride wore a full-length amethyst dress with a bolero jacket and the mother of the groom wore a full-length wine-colored dress with a bolero jacket.
The reception was held at Albert Pike Hotel in downtown Little Rock. The reception and serving table decorations were adorned with poinsettias on main table, dark red table linens, red alstroemerias on the tables. Central Arkansas Entertainment DJ played during the reception and there was dancing.
The couple went on their wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
