Ashley Michelle Cardin and Greg Anthony Zinn, both of Greenbrier, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Tina Nokes of Conway and Mike Cardin. She is the granddaughter of Larry and Belinda Nokes of Greenbrier, the late Frank Nokes and the late Billie Nokes of Greenbrier. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Andy Moses and Pauline Moses of Malden, Mo., Nolan and Suzanne Cardin of Greenbrier, Fred and Charlotte McNew, and the late Doy Cardin and the late Bronnie Cardin.

She is a graduate of Greenbrier High School and is currently attending the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton.

She was a member of the Greenbrier school band for four years, flagline for one year, a mathlete for two years, the 2009 senior homecoming maid and Greenbrier High School homecoming queen. She played high school softball and was also in Future Farmers of America.

She is currently employed as a teller at First Service Bank in Greenbrier.

The prospective groom is the son of Jamie Wissenburg of Conway. He is the grandson of Ava Long of Long Beach, Calif., and the late Fred Long.

He is a graduate of Greenbrier High School, where he was member of the FFA Electricity Team.

He is currently employed at Cement Siding Installation (CSI).

The wedding is set to take place at 6 p.m. Saturday at Crosspoint Baptist Church, Wilson Farm Road in Greenbrier.

A reception will follow at Greenbrier Sports Center.
