Emily Dusek of Conway and Kaleb Smithson of Greenbrier have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Robert and Deborah Dusek of Conway. Her grandparents are Sussanna and Albert Slottje of Bellevue, Neb., and Mary Ann and the late Louis W. Dusek of La Vista, Neb.

Emily is a 2007 graduate of Conway High School and a 2011 graduate of Hendrix College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Allied Health.

She is currently employed at Therapy and Rehab Solutions, Inc.

The prospective groom is the son of Brent and Angie Smithson of Greenbrier. His grandparents are David and Katherine Smithson of Calico Rock, Ark., and Lowell and Peggy Melton of Brockwell, Ark.

Kaleb is a 2007 graduate of Greenbrier High School and in 2011 he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry.

He is currently finishing his first year of medical school at UAMS-College of Medicine.

The wedding is set to take place at 6 p.m. July 14 at Hendrix College’s Greene Chapel, with the reception immediately following at Hendrix College’s Worsham Hall.
