Miss Lindsay Leigh Smith of Conway and Mr. Phillip Daniel Davis of Emmet, Ark., were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. June 30, 2012, in a double-ring beach ceremony in Destin, Fla., officiated by Mr. Christopher Davis, brother of the groom, of Louisville, Ky.

The bride is the daughter of Brian and Mary Smith of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jimmie Lee Smith and the late Norman "Stormy" Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Curran, all of Conway.

The groom is the son of Roger and Diane Davis of Emmet. He is the grandson of Mrs. Barbara Impson of Hope and the late Nat Impson, Mrs. Irene Davis Adams of Angleton, Texas, and the late Lloyd Adams.

The ceremony took place on the beach at sunset. The bride and groom exchanged hand-written vows under a bamboo arbor decorated with sheer white fabric and tropical yellow, green and white flowers. The guests were seated on white chairs with celadon green sashes.

The bridal aisle was decorated with yellow rose petals. Bible scriptures were read by Leah and Isaiah Davis of Louisville, Ky., niece and nephew of the groom. Family members Tara Smith and Danielle Permenter greeted guests upon arrival and handed out bamboo fan programs.

A three piece stringed ensemble provided music for the wedding and reception.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore an Allure Couture Exclusive white Italian satin ball gown. The ruched bodice featured a sweetheart neckline and the waistline was surrounded by a wide band of silver embroidery, pearls, and hand beaded Swarovski crystals. The full gathered skirt featured pockets and a semi-Cathedral train. The bride’s hair was adorned with a white orchid. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses, freesia, craspedia and white hydrangeas with white ribbon. The bride wore her mother’s diamond earrings and bracelet.

Serving as attendants were the bride and groom’s parents.

The bride’s mother wore a street-length pear green taffeta dress with a scooped neckline. The groom’s mother wore a street-length lime green chiffon dress with a pleated skirt.

An outdoor dinner reception was held on the grounds adjacent to the beach.

The guest tables were covered with white tablecloths and celadon green runners. Lanterns, votives and lemon-filled vases of yellow orchids completed the table decorations. The grounds also featured special stringed lighting draped above the reception area. Guests dined on crab cakes, beef tenderloin canapes, salads, seared grouper filets, roasted beef tenderloin, roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. The wedding cake was a three-tier chocolate and French vanilla cake. It was covered with white buttercream frosting with scroll design and yellow ribbon details. It was topped with yellow and white orchids.

Servers were from A La Carte Catering.

The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia at Sandals La Toc.
