Miss Jessica M. George of Mayflower, Ark., and Mr. James N. Vernon of Charleston, Ark., were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony at 6 p.m. Sept. 22, 2012, during an outdoor ceremony at Point Remove Lodge in Hattieville, Ark., officiated by William Buchanan of Charleston.
The bride is the daughter of Tina George of Mayflower and the late Donald George. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Pat Glover of Russellville, Ark., and Mrs. Bonnie George and the late Albert George.
The groom is the son of Greg and Liz Vernon of Charleston. He is the grandson of June and Ross Rogers of Scranton, Ark., and Francis and Aldon Vernon of Ozark, Ark.
The ceremony took place beside a lake with fall colors as decoration.
Music was provided by Casey Belew, Cody Belew, Jed Bolyard, Kyler Curbow, Drake Glover and Richard Setian.
The bride was escorted by Josh George, Chris George, Charles Glover, Patrick Glover, Mike Glover, Steve Belew and Joe Cordell.
She wore a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and beadwork.
Matron of honor was Kaitlyn Ryals and maid of honor was Brittany Turner, both of Mayflower. Bridesmaids were Laura Vernon, Leslie Cook, Audry Homer and Tara Young. All of the bride’s attendants wore mismatched black dresses and carried calla lilies in fall colors.
Denver Pickartz was ring bearer, Tyler Warden was the Bible carrier, and Brandt Rogers and Dakota Pickartz carried signs.
Flower girls were Amber George, Remie Finken, Hanna Hunt, Reese Hunt and Alexis Thacker.
Best man was Scott Sargent of Charleston and groomsmen were Jeff Terry, Josh Fritsche, Daniel Meador, Matt Stewart and Billy Womack.
Ushers were Jacob King, Jake Bolyard, Clay Crowley and Rustin Bates.
The reception was also held at Point Remove Lodge.
Servers were Lady in Waiting, Ellie Glover, and House Party, Allie Glover, Maggie Glover and Chloe Finken.
The couple honeymooned in Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon are currently residing in Little Rock.
