Haley Browne Wilson and Justin Michael Green, both of Conway, were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m., June 9, 2012, in a double-ring ceremony in Greene Chapel at Hendrix College, officiated by James Ryken of Conway.
The bride is the daughter of John and Kelli Wilson of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Curtis and Pat Edmondson, and Delores Wilson and the late Jack Wilson, all of Conway.
The groom is the son of Sonja Wright of Vilonia and Michael and Connie Green of Hensley, Ark.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a white A-line Maggie Sottero gown with a strapless, sweetheart neckline and corset closure. The gown featured luxurious Valentina satin that wrapped the bodice and flowed into the skirt and was adorned with an obi bow on a Swarovski crystal beaded band at the waist. She carried an arrangement of white roses and green hydrangeas.
Maid of honor was Whitney Guy, sister of the bride. She wore a Royal Alfred Sung, cocktail dress.
Bridesmaids were Autumn Payne, Lauren Throneberry, Emily Blackard, Carrie McGee, Heather Mears, Erica Simon, Maegan Lawson and Kellye Green, and junior bridesmaid was Ryleigh Lawson. They wore Royal Alfred Sung cocktail dresses of their choice.
Flower girls were Alana Payne, Katy Simon and Layla Mears. Ring bearers for the ceremony were Jaxon Lawson and Jack Edmondson.
Best man was Clayton Mayfield. Groomsmen were Sam Bartlett, Clint Mears, Caleb Knight, John Cartwright, Jeremy Simon, Ryan McGee, Jacob Simon and Bryce Green.
Ushers were JP Boling, Travis Caldwell, Brad Cowger and Craig Culliford.
Music was provided by Stephanie Livers. Presiding at the guestbook was Dr. Tuyet Van-Mayfield.
The reception was held at Knights of Columbus. Friends and family dined on a cocktail buffet featuring pork tenderloin, brisket and various hors d’oeuvres. The bride and groom cakes, designed by Cheeky Cakes, were a four tiered butter cream with satin ribbon and roses around each tier, a monogrammed "G" was placed on the top tier. The groom’s cake was an Arkansas Razorbacks theme. Guests were also treated to a Grandmother’s dessert table featuring the couples favorite desserts. Servers were Rhonda Wilson, Shelly Davis, Susan Wilson, Jake Lawson, Amanda Mamula, Patty Jones, Marty Davis, Tonya and Darrell Walsh, and Tommy and Tonia Walsh.
The couple and wedding party were introduced by disc jockey Adam "Poolboy" Dunaway upon their arrival to the reception. Justin and Haley began the first dance to "Marry Me," by Train. Mr. Wilson welcomed everybody to the celebration after a dance with Haley to Bob Carlisle’s, "Butterfly Kisses."
The night ended when Justin and Haley left in a 1936 Chevy Coupe. The newlyweds chose the Secrets Maroma, Cancun, Mexico, as their honeymoon destination.
Prior to the wedding the couple was honored at a "Honey Do" shower at the home of Mike Gibbs and Susan Wilson, and also hosted by Kim Gary. A bridal shower was given by Tonia Walsh, Shelly Davis and Whitney Guy. Lauren Throneberry and Autumn Payne, also held a shower for the bride.
