Tiffany Nichelle Linz of Benton, Ark., and Brian Greene Mattingly of Conway, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Stewart and Rhonda Linz of Benton. She is the granddaughter of Linda Lee Adams, the late Floyd Ballard Adams, Jr., and the late Flora May and Max Theodore Linz, all of Alexander, Ark.

She is a 2004 graduate of Benton High School, a 2008 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, and a 2011 UCA graduate with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

She is currently employed at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS) as a Cardiac, Surgical & Trauma ICU nurse.

The prospective groom is the son of Ken Mattingly of Maumelle and Becky and Jim Strack of Conway. He is the grandson of Georgia and Jim Long of Casa, Ark., the late Nell M. and Wesley Henry (W.H.) Greene of Crawfordsville, Ark., and the late William Edgar Mattingly of Little Rock.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Hendrix College and a Master of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

He currently works in the field of renewable energy.

The wedding is set to take place at 7 p.m. on June 8, 2013, at the Little Rock Library Darragh Center Garden, downtown Little Rock, with reception to follow.
