The following persons made first appearance Tuesday at Faulkner County Circuit Court:
• Tyree D. Kerr, 20, 405 Sturgis Road, Conway, according to a Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office jail intake report. Two counts class-Y felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, burglary. Kerr was released on his own recognizance. Deputy prosecutor Charles Finkenbinder did not oppose the decision, saying that Kerr had cooperated with officers and "come clean," admitting guilt. Kerr told the court that the substance in question was "rabbit food," as he told officers at the time of his arrest, according to a CPD incident report. Pretrial was set for Dec. 17. No public defender was appointed.
• Betty Williams/Lopez (last names differ between court and jail documents, though the date of birth and warrant information is the same), 21, 1060 Highway 9 Morrilton, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Bond was set at $593 cash. Pretrial was set for Oct. 21. Public defender Karen Walker-Knight was appointed.
• Jennifer Dawn McGinty, 24, 87 Pheasant Kreek Circle, Vilonia, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Probation revocation stemming from 2007 possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to stop after accident and public intoxication conviction. Bond was denied. Probation revocation hearing was set for Oct. 30. Public defender Stephen Ralph was appointed.
• Jason A. Hoggard, 25, 45 Echo Lane, Conway, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Possession of a firearm by certain persons. Bond was set at $15,000. Pretrial was set for Dec. 30. Public defender Karen Walker-Knight was appointed.
