The Conway Police Department is investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred early Thursday morning outside of a Conway Wendy’s restaurant at 311 East Oak St.

According to a CPD incident report released on Thursday, an officer was at a traffic stop at about 1:45 a.m. when he noticed a man and a woman "running down the street towards the traffic stop screaming."

The two told the officer that they had been robbed at gunpoint outside of the restaurant by suspects described as young black males, who stole their wallet and purse and about $360 cash. According to the report, the suspects were last seen "running south toward Chapel Ridge Apartments" at 401 Second Street. 

The three suspects are described in the report as being 5-foot even and 130 pounds, 5-foot eight inches and 170 pounds and 6-foot even and 180 pounds.
