U.S. Geological Survey officials reported a 2.4-magnitude earthquake near Greenbrier on Friday night.

The USGS Web site said the quake hit at 8:51 p.m. and was centered 2 miles northwest of Greenbrier, 4 miles north-northeast of Wooster and 4 miles south of Twin Groves.
