Among reports recently released by the Conway Police Department:

1. Shots fired. Police responded to several residents on the 900 block of South German Lane reported shots were fired. Shell castings were located. A witness observed he saw a black male wearing a dark colored jacket with the letter "R" on the back of it and the same letter "R" on the back of black jeans running from where the shots were fired. The witness said the suspect ran across Dave Ward Drive. Another witness observed an older maroon Ford Explorer leaving the scene immediately after the shots were fired.

2. Theft of property at 800 block of Sherman Oaks Circle. Victim said her black 2007 GMC Envoy was stolen from her mother’s driveway.

3. Breaking or entering at the 1000 block of Morningside Drive, Captain’s Carwash. Victim said someone attempted to gain access to a coin box. Keys to the locking mechanism were stolen. 

4. Unauthorized use of a credit card. Police responded to Grace United Methodist Church in reference to a theft. Victim reported the church’s Visa credit card number had been stolen and is being used to make unauthorized purchases. Charges on the card were for hotels and pizza totaling around $2,500.
