The body of a 44-year-old white male was discovered Saturday night in a grassy area between the North Plaza Shopping Center and Lowe’s Home Improvement.

According to Faulkner County Coroner Pat Moore, no evidence was found at the scene to immediately indicate foul play.

Conway Police Department public information officer Chris Harris said that the body was discovered by a man who told officers that he was a contractor working for Lowe’s, and that he called authorities when he found the body while surveying a pest control problem.

According to Harris, the body had probably been in the field since Friday. The man’s identity was not released at press time, as next of kin had not been notified.
