Faulkner County authorities are trying to locate a Conway woman for questioning after an alleged stabbing incident near Twin Groves.

According to Maj. Andy Shock of the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office, the victim said that he had returned to his home on Poole Lane at about 5 p.m. and went about his routine as normal, until he heard what sounded like someone bouncing a basketball outside of his home and got out of bed to investigate.

Shock said that the man told deputies that when he went outside he was ambushed outside the home by a woman he recognized as Ronda Greer, 41, of 730 A East German Lane, Conway.

The man said that Greer hit him in the head with a crowbar, and a scuffle ensued during which Greer allegedly produced a knife and stabbed him three times, Shock said. The man said that he was able to gain control of the knife and throw it on top of his residence. Greer got into the man’s truck and left the scene. The man was treated and released at Conway Regional Medical Center.

The truck was found nearby on Batesville Mountain Road, Shock said, and there was some blood on the vehicle. There was no sign of Greer, he said.

Greer may be driving a white Mazda 626 sedan.
