Central Baptist Church hosted a High Seas Expedition Bible School this week that resulted in global impact. With an average of 175 kids in attendance each day, over $1,100 in change was collected for missions. The offering will be used to help BMA missionaries in India. According to Central Church Children’s Pastor Ben South, it was an "incredible experience watching the kids bring their pocket change that will impact people thousands of miles away for Christ." This year’s event was the largest Bible School effort the church has ever held, South said. "We hope to continue the tradition of involving our kids in global outreach as the program continues to grow." Children attending this week’s Bible school included Creed, Carlee and Coree Beene, Josh and Alyssa Pibbs, Claire South and Javiana Geraldson. SUBMITTED PHOTO
