The Faulkner County Election Commission will host a public forum Saturday to provide an opportunity for voters, candidates, election and political workers to discuss the election process.

The forum will begin at 10 a.m. in Courtroom "A" at the Faulkner County Courthouse. The recent primary and run-off elections, as well as September’s school board election and the general election in November will be discussed.

Opportunities for people to participate in the election process in Faulkner County will also be discussed. The election commissioners will be looking to hear about what went wrong, what went right and ideas and comments for improving our election process.

A second public forum will be held in September to which candidates will be specifically invited and educational materials dealing with our election process will be made available. The date and place of the second forum will be set at Saturday’s meeting.
