A community meeting for the Conway EcoFest will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Faulkner County Library, 1900 Tyler, Conway.
The agenda includes volunteer sign ups/assignments, exhibitors and section coordination and an exchange of ideas, networking, and updates. Light snacks will be provided.
This meeting will allow those in attendance to meet in groups according to interest to help determine what additional interactive exhibits are needed to provide balanced information on each topic or in each section, to confirm who and what type of exhibits are currently scheduled for a given section and to help determine the needs to accomplish their vision. A brief wrap-up session will allow each section’s participants to share their vision and learn how they can help illustrate the interconnections to the other areas represented.
Sections include recycling and waste, agriculture and organics, related health issues, energy issues, transportation, car show and alternative fuels, cardboard car derby, green building-sustainable homes and businesses, natural resources, science and technology, literature, kites and more.
