Among reports recently released by the Conway Police Department:

1. Criminal mischief at 705 Salem Road. (McDonald’s). An employee of Red Box Inc. reported Tuesday that the Red Box machine outside the business was damaged. The employee stated that she arrived to service the machine and discovered that the glass screen was broken. The employee stated that the machine was checked by another service person at 7 p.m. Monday and was in working condition.

2. Forgery at 600 block of Chestnut Street. Victim reported Tuesday that she noticed an unauthorized charge had been made to her bank account. The victim stated that the debit card to the account had been declined when her husband tried to use it earlier in the day. The victim said she checked the bank statement online and discovered a charge of $503. While contacting her bank, the victim said a second charge of $200 had been made.

3. Commercial burglary at 1350 Old Morrilton Highway. (American Furniture Liquidators). The owner of the store reported Tuesday that he arrived about 9 a.m. and found the front doors open. The victim stated that he locked the doors the night before, but forgot to engage the locks at the top of the door frame. Missing from the store were a leather sectional couch and matching chair.
