A Conway man reported to Faulkner County sheriff's deputies that his pet dog bit the tip of his finger off.

The man reported that on July 27 his dog got its foot caught in a recliner, and when the man tried to help, the dog turned and bit him.

The victim said that the tip of his ring finer on his right was bitten off, and there were bites on two other fingers.

He told deputies that his dog hasn't displayed aggressive tendencies in the past.

Deputies filed a report, but no other action was taken.
