Among reports recently released by the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office:


1. Simple assault at 1 block of Clements Lane, Conway. Victim reported Aug. 2 that she had been assaulted. A witness stated that the incident began over an ice cream treat that the victim’s child wanted. The suspect became angry, saying "it would get wasted, not eaten." After words were exchanged, the witness said the suspect grabbed the victim, causing a large bruise on her left breast. The witness said the victim, who is pregnant, was also pushed in the stomach. The witness stated that there was a noticeable red area on the victim’s stomach. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Faulkner County Detention Center.

2. Damage of property at 18 Lodge Drive, Vilonia. Officers responded to a property damage call Aug. 4 at the Holland Community Center. The glass in the front door of the center was completely shattered, but still intact. Officers did not believe entry was made to the building.

3. Stolen property at 300 block of Highway 64, Conway. Victim reported Aug. 4 that 10 of his chickens were gone. The victim stated that he took his dog out and checked his show chickens at 10 p.m. The victim said when he went back to out at 10:20 p.m., the cages were open and the chickens were missing.

4. Breaking and entering at 900 block of Otto Road, Conway. Victim reported Aug. 6 that someone broken into his storage shed and took several items. Missing from the property were a nail gun with a blue hose, a Campbell air compressor, a Ryobi cordless drill and battery, a Ryobi reciprocating saw and a Ryobi flashlight.
