Christopher Oxley, 21, was convicted Aug. 9 of attempted burglary and criminal mischief stemming from an incident at Wooley’s Grocery in Enola.

According to 20th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Marcus Vaden, Oxley went on a crime spree beginning in Lonoke County on Dec. 11, 2009. His night ended at the Enola store, where he broke the glass to the front door but was unable to gain entry.

Oxley was sentenced to five years in the Arkansas Department of Correction, as well as an additional suspended sentence during which time he will be required to repay the store for the damage caused.
