Five earthquakes were reported from Friday to Monday in Faulkner County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey website.

The strongest of the three quakes, with a 2.2 magnitude, occurred at 3:01 a.m. Friday five miles northwest of Mount Vernon.

Saturday’s 1.0 magnitude quake occurred at 12:51 p.m. one mile north-northeast of Guy.

Three earthquakes occurred Sunday and early Monday in the same location, all five miles northwest of Mount Vernon.

Sunday’s 3:30 p.m. quake registered at a 1.9 magnitude. The first of Monday’s earthquakes, a 1.6 magnitude, occurred at 1:33 a.m. The second, a 1.8 magnitude, registered at 2:11 a.m.
