A Conway resident has been charged with 44 counts of possession of child pornography.

Justin Hall, 25, 3100 Irby Drive, Apt. 3008, was arrested in a traffic stop initiated by Conway police and Faulkner County deputies on Salem Road.

According to Lt. Matt Rice, of the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office, Hall was already a person of interest and the department had been monitoring his activities for some time.

Rice said a search warrant on the suspicion of child pornography was conducted at Hall’s apartment, which revealed 44 counts of possession obtained from Hall’s personal computer.

Rice said investigators utilized a new software program, File Cop Live, an on-scene forensics scanner, to scan the computer for the illegal materials.

Hall, originally from Oklahoma, was taken to Faulkner County Unit 2 for booking.

Rice said the computer was seized in the investigation, and it will be searched further.

Hall is being held on a $10,000 bond.
