Sixteen earthquakes have been recorded in Faulkner County since Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey website.
The first quake in the series with a 2.4 magnitude occurred at 10:43 p.m. Friday one mile east-southeast of Guy. A 2.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded Saturday at 1:08 a.m. two miles southeast of Guy.
Three quakes with magnitudes of 1.8, 1.7 and 1.4 were recorded between 6:25 and 8:55 a.m. Sunday two miles south-southeast of Guy.
On Monday, seven earthquakes were recorded.
Two 2.0 magnitude quakes were felt at 3:39 a.m. and 8:35 p.m. within three miles of Guy. A 1.9 magnitude quake hit at 10:12 p.m. two miles east-northeast of Guy, followed by a 2.1 magnitude at 10:46 p.m. three miles east of Guy. Three earthquakes with magnitudes of 1.8, 2.0 and 2.0 were felt between 11 and 11:48 p.m. two miles east of Guy.
Another four earthquakes occurred Tuesday.
A 2.1 magnitude was recorded at 3:31 a.m. three miles east of Guy. A 1.9 magnitude was felt at 3:54 a.m. one mile east-northeast of Guy, followed by a 2.4 magnitude quake at 5:48 a.m. and a 1.9 magnitude at 5:54 a.m.
