Exel Howard and William Ross, Greenbrier youths who have gone in swimming at least once each during the past 47 months, will usher in 1936 in the water, Howard said on a visit to Conway today. The boys already have had their December plunge. They plan to jump into the cold Cadron late the night of Dec. 31 and come out in 1936.
The unique swim record was started in February of 1931, when the pair went in the waters of Black Fork creek. Some of their swims have been taken in Cove creek.

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Imboden on Highway 286, adorned with lights, Santa’s reindeer, and a flashing red light on the nose of Rudolph, created a holiday setting that captured many sightseers out to view Christmas decorations in Conway. Imboden, who said the decorations job took him 12 hours, estimated about 5,000 lights were used on the house, shrubs and yard. This is the 10th year that the Imbodens have decorated their home.
