The Conway Lady Cats ran their perfect record to 11-0 Wednesday night after defeating Sallisaw, Okla., 61-38.

The game was the first for the Lady Cats after the Christmas break.

"It was a typical first game after the break," first-year coach Ashley Nance said. "It took awhile to get momentum, but once we found our groove, we made plays.

"Our bench played well, and I was very pleased with sophomore guard Claire Hobbs."

Enjonae Chambers led Conway with 22 points. Bre’Anna Hobbs and Quay Allen-Smith had 10 rebounds each, while Madison Foster added six steals.


The Conway Wampus Cats ended their nonconference schedule with a third-place finish in the Har-Ber Holiday Classic.

The Cats defeated Clear Brook (Houston, Texas) High School 66-56 Wednesday in the consolation game.

Micah Delph led Conway (9-3) with 25 points. Colt Fason added 13 points, while TeShaun Sims finished with 12.
