Seven Sonshine Academy gymnasts (Jake Fisher, Joshua Farewell, Blake Hopkins, Cullen Odom, Keeton Williams, Chase Birdwell, and Jay Krisell) either won or placed in the top three in individual events or the all-around in their level and age group in a Level 4 competition in a recent gymnastics meet in Conway.  

Sonshine’s boys team’s performance was highlighted by 11-year-old Level 6 gymnast, Jake Fisher, who won all 6 events and in the all-around, scoring season highs on rings, vault, parallel bars, high bar, and all-around (85.0).

In the Level 5, age 9 division, Farewell placed first on floor and rings, third on pommel horse, and third in the all-around. Hopkins, tied for second on parallel bars, and tied for third on rings.  Competing in the Level 5, 7-8, Cullen Odom placed third on vault.  

In the level 4, 7-year-olds, Chase Birdwell tied for second on rings, scoring a personal best of 15.1.  In the level 4, age 8 division, Keeton Williams placed second on floor, pomml horse, rings, and vault, and 3rd in the all-around. Jay Krisell placed third on vault and second on parallel bars.
