Much of a Conway residence was lost in a structure fire at 6 Donna Circle on Wednesday afternoon.

MEMS, Highway 286 East Volunteer Fire Department, Liberty Volunteer Fire Department and Vilonia Fire Department responded to the blaze, east of Sunny Gap Road off of Huckleberry Road.

Liberty Volunteer Fire Department Assistant Chief Suzonne Hopkins said an outbuilding near the home’s garage was the suspected starting point of the blaze.

Hopkins said the outbuilding, the garage, a vehicle and finally the house all became fully involved before the fire was contained.

Approximately two acres of grass also burned, threatening other nearby structures.

Hopkins said that the home was unoccupied at the time of the blaze, and no injuries occurred.
