BRYANT — Conway wrestlers easily took the team title Saturday in the 7A-Central Conference Wrestling Classic here.

Eighty-six wrestlers participated in a tuneup for next week’s state tournament.

The Wampus Cats wrestlers accumulated 233 points to 123 for second-place Cabot on the way to the conference title.

Winning for Conway were: Connor Lusby at 119 pounds; Elliott Lusby at 125 pounds and Corven Alexander at 145 pounds.

Second-place finishes for Conway were by Morgan Shiew, 152 pounds; Jaxson Myers, 140 pounds and Tanner Branscum, 130 pounds.

Finishing third were Connor Aist, 103 pounds; and Dylan Watts, 112 pounds.

T.J. Rush finished fourth at 136 pounds.
