A Silver Alert has been issued for a 57-year-old woman suffering from dementia who was last seen at Walmart on Skyline Drive in Conway on Sunday.

Kathryn Horton, 57, was at Walmart with her son at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, when, according to a Conway Police Department release, she stepped outside to smoke a cigarette.

Horton’s son went outside to look for his mother to find that she and the vehicle they were traveling in, a blue Dodge Neon with green spray paint on its sides, were gone.

The license plate on the vehicle is Disabled plate number 205457.

According to the release, Horton called her sister from a Little Rock gas station and told her that her car had broken down.

"She said a black male was going to give her a ride home," the release stated.

Little Rock Police units went to the gas station, Phillips 66 located at 9th Avenue and Interstate 30, and found that Horton was gone.

A gas station attendant identified the man she was with as Anthony Johnson.

When family arrived to retrieve Horton’s vehicle, it also was gone.

If Horton is located, police would ask that her son, James Warren, be contacted at 501-581-5298, as well as Conway Police Detective Melissa H. Smith at 501-450-6120.
