Keith Jackson, a former NFL player and founder of P.A.R.K., Positive Atmosphere Reaches Kids, shares his message during Junior Achievement’s seventh annual "Economics for Success" business luncheon Wednesday on the University of Central Arkansas campus. Jackson’s group reaches out to underachieving students and helps them get on the path to college. Junior Achievement of Arkansas has a similar message of guiding future leaders and entrepreneurs. Jackson told the assembled business leaders of P.A.R.K.’s efforts in helping students with grade point averages of less than 2.0 reach college. "They can do it," he said. "Do you know why? Because there was an aunt, there was a teacher, there was coach telling them, ‘You can do it.’ And that’s what makes the difference: Individuals who were willing to give their time and understand their purpose to help the next generation."
