Mary Place Chapter Colonial Dames XVII Century met Saturday at Michael’s Restaurant in Heber Springs. President Sara Richardson presided over the meeting. It was announced that Caitlin Stewart, a graduating senior of West Side High School, Greers Ferry won the state scholarship with her essay on "How Tobacco Saved the Jamestown, Va., Colony". A memorial service was held for Myra Harrison Hartley. Officers for the years 2011–2013 were installed.
