Conway’s Hometown Clogging Team, the Konway Kickers will be a part of the entertainment at Riverfest 2011 at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 28. They will be performing on the International Village Stage in the Belvedere at Riverfront Park with a few of our fellow cloggers. Under the Direction of CJ Conine, instructor and member of the Konways Kickers’ Performance Team, a team of teams was formed, "The Arkansas All Star Cloggers". Four clogging teams from around the state of Arkansas have joined together to perform as one with over 30 team members and 50 plus years of experience our mission is to educate, promote, and showcase one of the traditional golk dances of Arkansas clogging. Together we strive to carry on and keep alive this great tradition that reaches from the Southern Delta, to the Appalachians, to the Ozark Mountains, and around the world. Down home and family oriented clogging is for everyone. They believe whether you’re 1 or 100 if you can tap your toes you can clog. Join us as we "kick up our heels" in celebration of our great state and in memory of those who served our country and truly made it the land of the free and the home of the brave. The participating teams will be The Konway Kickers - Director Donna Bivins - Conway; The Diamond State Divas - Director Jodi Fox Moore - Jonesboro; Central Arkansas Cloggers - Director Teresa Sparkman - Greenbrier; and Ozark Rhythm Cloggers - Director Gina Broyles - Mountain View.  SUBMITTED PHOTO
