Bryce Nicholson graduated from Vilonia High School on May 21, at the University of Central Arkansas Farris Center. He was ranked first in his class of 217 with a GPA higher than 4.0. His regalia included three academic cords, one of which was dark purple and represented his outstanding accomplishment of receiving the highest grade in thirteen of his classes during his three-year tenure at Vilonia High School. He was the only graduate to obtain this cord. He also graduated with honors, wearing a medallion symbolizing his status as an Honor Graduate. Bryce was awarded a $24,000 Excellence Scholarship from the University of Central Arkansas and plans to attend college there in the fall. Bryce is the son of Andy and Valerie Nicholson of Conway.
