Taylor Guinn of Conway was awarded an Honors College Academy Scholarship to study at the University of Arkansas. She graduated as a senior at Conway Christian High School. The scholarship provides up to $4,000 towards tuition, fees and on-campus room and board. She is one of 150 to receive the scholarship. She is the daughter of Clay and Trish Guinn of Conway. She plans to major in health science. Brent Michael Burroughs of Vilonia has received a Distinguished Scholars Award from Arkansas Tech University. He is the son of Russell and April Burroughs. He plans to major in chemistry after graduating from Vilonia High School. Alex Kyle Williams of Damascus has received a Distinguished Scholars Award from Arkansas Tech University. He is the son of Daniel and Gwenda Williams. He will major in bio-chemistry after graduating from South Side Bee Branch High School.Morgan Marie Mayor of Conway has received a Distinguished Scholars Award from Arkansas Tech University. She is the daughter of Randy and Laura Mayor. She will major in early childhood education after graduating from St. Joseph High School. Tyler Davis of Greenbrier has been awarded a Chancellor’s Scholarship to study at the University of Arkansas. Davis is a graduate of Greenbrier High School. The scholarship will award up to $8,000 per year for tuition, fees, and on-campus room and board. He is the son of Walt and Laura Davis. He plans to major in engineering. Kate McCalman of Conway has received a University Honors Scholarship from Arkansas Tech University. A graduate of Conway High School, she is the daughter of Glynn McCalman and Mary Heber. She plans to major in psychology.
