Among reports recently released by the Conway Police Department:

1. Theft of property, 400 block of First Ave. Officers made contact with a man who reported that his girlfriend had stolen his rent money. The victim stated that he and the suspect had argued earlier in the evening because she had admitted to having a sexually transmitted disease and possibly had passed it along to him. The victim stated that he had gone to bed and when he woke up later in the night, the suspect was gone as well as $300 of his rent money. An incident report was filed.

2. Public intoxication, 2800 block of Nutter Chapel Road. Officers were patrolling in the area and observed a man walking in the ditch of the road. The man had difficulty walking and almost fell. Officers made contact with the man and observed a large cut on his neck and his pants were covered in blood. They also noted that he had a strong odor of intoxicants coming from his person. MEMS was called to the scene to treat the man’s wounds but because he needed stitches, he was transported to the hospital. The officers noted that the man was a suspect in a hit and run accident that happened earlier in the evening. After he was released from the hospital, he was transported to the Faulkner County Detention Center and cited for public intoxication.

3. Burglary - residential, 2100 block of Hickory St. Officers made contact with a man who stated that he believed that one of his friends had taken several items from his home. The victim reported that a wrist watch had been taken as well as his opened can of red cream soda. The victim told officers that he was afraid his DNA and fingerprints could be found at a crime scene because of the nature of the items stolen and he wanted a report on file in case this occurred. An incident report was filed.
