Dibrell Lyons, pitcher for the Houston club of the Texas league, returned to his home in Conway last night. Lyons expects to spend the winter here. He was accompanied by Mrs. Lyons.

Going to Houston in June, the little left hander won 12 games and lost three for the Bisons. He appeared in on play-off game, being charged with a defeat. He started the season with Hollywood in the Pacific coast league.

A drawing for horse stalls at the Faulkner County Fair, opening next Wednesday, will be held at the YBMA Fairgrounds tomorrow, Howard R. Montgomery said. Space is available for only 44 animals and far more than this number are expected to be entered.

The YBMA will conduct a work night at the Fairgrounds Monday to make preparations for the annual exposition.

Sarah Nabholz, 17-year-old daughter of Charles and Charlotte Nabholz of Conway, has been named St. Joseph high School beauty queen. Miss Nabholz, a senior, is a sixth-year basketball player and a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, ALL-STARS and Delta Beta Sigma sorority. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas after graduating from high school.

Forest E. Harrell has been elected president of the south sentral region of the Fleet Reserve Association.

The FRA is a federally chartered organization that represents the concerns of enlisted sea service personnel.

The FRA also works to safeguard and enhance military pay and benefits by representing the concerns of its members before Congress and other appropriate federal agencies.

Harrell is a veteran of both the Korean War and the Vietnam War and retired from the Navy in 1967.
